WHEN IS THE NEXT BAT CHALLENGE?
The BAT Challenge is held every year on the last weekend of October.
The next one is on 27 - 29 October 2017.
HOW DO I ENTER?
Click here to download a booking form.
This booking form must be completed and sent to our office with the proof of full payment.
The BAT weekend is limited to 60 people so bookings are on a first come first serve basis, your booking will only be confirmed once we have received payment.
WHAT IS COST OF ENTERING?
The cost depends on which option you would like to partake in.

WILL I BE ABLE TO ENTER AS AN INDIVIDUAL OR 2 PERSONS?
Participants can enter individually or in two or as a whole team of 4 people.
The individual bookings will be grouped together to create teams of 4 for the BAT challenge.
IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?
Participants need to be 18 years and older
CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?
NO, no person under 18 will be allowed.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

Required Kit List
Sleeping bag and pillow (standard mattresses are provided in the dormitories). Trainers or running shoes, swimming costume, towel, hat/cap, warm top, shorts, BAT Challenge - colour coded team T-shirt, sandals/flip flops, dancing shoes (for concrete floor), toiletries, sunscreen, lip ice, insect repellent – peaceful sleep, headlamp/torch, camera. Please remember your eating utensils like plate, mug and knife, spoon & fork.

REMEMBER – own camping gear should you choose to camp – tent & mattress

Beverages & Snacks
Bring your own drinking water, ice, cooler box, drinks and snacks.

Cash bar will be available.

2L bottled water for river trip – soft drinks, alcoholic beverages in cans please as we don’t allow any glass on the river.

TIP: Powered mixes are quite popular e.g. Packets of Game, Clifton. Snacks for the river are things like dried fruit, biltong, droëwors, peanuts, bars of chocolate, super C and jelly babies.

Please also bring your own drinking mug (non-glass). A stainless steel or plastic glass is best.

Optional
Fishing rod, camping chairs, games, cards, frisbee, bat and ball.

An Indemnity form is to be completed on the day of registration.

CAN I ARRIVE SATURDAY MORNING ONLY?
Yes, of course!
DO YOU CATER FOR HALAAL AND KOSHER DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?
Yes. Please mark any special dietary requirements on your booking form.
WILL THERE BE A CASH BAR AVAILABLE?
Yes there will be a cash bar. You are also welcome to bring you own drinks for the weekend.
Please note we DO NOT allow any glass bottles on river. Ice will be sold.
WILL MY CAR AND BELONGINGS BE SAFE AT THE CAMP?
Yes, but it is suggested that you lock your valuable belonging in your car. Bundi will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to goods. Only the people attending the event will be allowed in the camp. No outsiders will have access to the camp.
